Fastener Industry     Fastener Industry

Fastener Industry
Our first parts washer in 1964, was built for a large fastener company to replace the washer which accompanied the new bolt maker which they purchased. The customer did not like the washer and asked us to design a smaller, more efficient unit. When we installed the new washer, the manufacturer of the bolt maker liked the design so well that they recommended us to many of their customers. In addition to parts washers, we became an integral supplier to the fastener industry with our innovative furnace feeding systems and packaging equipment. Even though the industry as a whole has lost many of the players, it continues to be one of our major customers.

Stamping     Stamping

Stamping
Our parts washers are designed specifically for each customer. We pay close attention to the particular parts and develop the best way to clean the parts at the most economical cost. This involves efficient burners, recirculation of the drying heat and intermediate blow-off between zones to minimize solution carry-over. One of the ways that our stamping customers are keeping the “Edge” is to add value to their parts by doing some sub-assembly. We have built systems that assemble wheel lug nuts, radiator components and door hinges to name a few.

Die Casting

Die Casting
The Die Casting and Powdered Metals industry have very specific cleaning requirements. The parts range in size from very small to large intricate items with many cavities and blind holes which must be cleaned. Our equipment utilizes both the “walking beam” and the “power and free” method of parts transfer to assure the most accurate positioning of the parts for cleaning, inspection and reliability.

Medical
Our fabrication department worked with the division of a major hospital equipment manufacturer to develop a very unique examination table. The table was coordinated with sophisticated electronics and ergonomic features. We have retrofitted wash down components to high speed pharmaceutical bottle filling equipment which provided prolonged run time and minimized the down time for machine cleaning.

Food

Food
One of the world's largest manufacturer of commercial and consumer cookware has been cleaning their products on our multi stage washer for over 15 years with virtually no down time. Our engineering and fabrication team worked together with a manufacturer of containers for spices to retro fit some older and inefficient cap and seal equipment which included new computerized controls.

Plastics     Plastics

Plastics
A manufacturer of Injection molded pails asked for our assistance to design, manufacture and install large hoods over the molding presses to prevent foreign material from falling into the pails which were to be used in the food industry. We have worked with several companies involved in the special coatings on fasteners and stampings to design and build cleaning and sealing equipment. A manufacturer of small cosmetic bottles asked us to design and build vacuum style conveyors to handle their product at extremely high speeds.

Automotive

Automotive
We have worked directly with the automotive companies as well as with the tier one and tier two suppliers of these companies to clean parts ranging from spark plugs to engine blocks. Many of these companies have dozens of our washers in various facilities throughout the world. In addition to new washers, we have rebuilt many of our own as well as those built by others to conform to current specifications relative to production, safety and conservation. We partnered with a local company to design and build two new machines to automatically de-burr automotive cam shafts.

Consumer Products
A national manufacturer of tape and adhesive products contracted us to rebuild a paper conversion machine. This rebuild saved them 10’s of thousands of dollars over a new machine and was completed in less time than it would have taken for a new machine. This rebuild included new computerized controls with operator interface. We have built to print high speed battery labeling and inspection equipment which produced 500 batteries per minute. In addition we have worked with the same company from prototype to production machinery for the packaging of batteries. We are currently working with a manufacturer of cotton swabs to design a more efficient and ergonomic packaging system. We designed and built a machine to test the fatigue factor in Cross bows.

Municipalities     Municipalities

Municipalities
Our service and fabrication division has worked with various municipalities as well as construction companies to fabricate new components for the road equipment including packer trucks, leaf sweepers and dump trucks. We have furnished many replacement parts for the high speed transit cars as well as the local buses. Many of these original units were built in other countries thus the replacement cost of parts was very high if purchased from the OEM. Our parts saved them thousands of dollars and lengthy down time.

In conclusion, our 50 plus years serving almost every facet of industry has given us a reputation of reliability, qualified personal attention, creativity and fair pricing. Let us add your company to our growing list of satisfied customers.
