Join Walsh Manufacturing at the Upcoming PMTS Show
With more than a year in the making, the biennial Precision Machine Technology Show (PMTS) is on the books for Walsh Manufacturing in April. Co-presented by Production Machining and Modern Machine Shop, the international machining show will also feature an adjacent parts cleaning conference and pavilion. The 2015 show will welcome 5,000 attendees from around the world to the Greater Columbus Convention Center next month.
This year, Walsh Manufacturing is proud to be one of the 250 exhibitors at the show. Held Tuesday, April 21 – Thursday, April 23, the show will feature live machine tool building floor demos and in-depth knowledge centers on the exhibit floor. Additional educational offerings will include interactive presentations showcasing process technologies and products and optional sessions from machining, environmental and parts cleaning experts. Introducing a New Generation to Problem Solving and Innovation
Since the mid-2000s there’s been a growing fascination with creative problem solving and do-it-yourself (DIY) solutions. While the element of creative problem solving has long been an emphasis at Walsh Manufacturing, we’ve watched with fascination the growing desire of the general public to apply creativity and a DIY approach to applications within their own sphere of reference. While some speculate the desire for DIY solutions sprung from depressed economic times, we believe this spirit of innovation has long existed within the manufacturing industry. Why You’ll Never Go Wrong with a Classic
Corvettes, Volkswagen Beetles, Thunderbirds, the Rolling Stones, Paul Simon, The Who and rooting for the hometown team. What do all of these things have in common? First of all that they can all be great fun and secondly they are all considered to be classics. Each of these items has withstood the test of time and still is something that continues to perform well and provides enough value to be held onto and recommended to others.
